Images grounded in Mother Earth and the great landscape all around
This is a panorama/stitched series of shots taken at dusk as the moon was rising over the buttes and mountain range near Panguitch Utah. This farming community is near Bryce Canyon N.P. I have taken the inspiration for this shot from Ansel Adams masterpiece 'Moonrise over Hernandez'.
This image was taken in Canyon X during my August 2010 trip to Page Arizona. Canyon X is a more remote section of slot canyons from the same drainage system as the more famous Antelope Canyon. It is only accessible by tour and in small groups of 6 people or less. This is an HDR image comprising several different exposures to capture the incredible dynamic range of this location.
This is an early morning shot of the Organ and the Tower of Babel as seen form the LaSal Mountain viewpoint. I had just a few moments of sun peek out in order to get this shot.
View into the upper Roost area where infamous western outlaws would take shelter from the law. Circa mid to late 1800's.
